Product Descriptions
All products processed under The Powell River Seafood Company label are wild. We do not use preservatives, only natural spices and natural wood smoke.
Our experienced staff pays extremely careful attention to the handling and quality of all products. All our products are processed according to approved and thoroughly tested methods and regulations. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CIFA) inspects our plant on a regular basis and we employ HACCP methods from start to finish.

Only the highest quality Wild Sockeye, Coho, Spring and on occasion Chum are carefully brined and smoked to perfection using a time tested recipe often described by our customers as one “one of the Best in Canada”. |

A unique and precise three day process results in a salmon product second to none in taste. The salmon may be packaged as sliced and boarded, or non sliced.

Our Candy is available year round and made with a natural Maple flavour and seasonal flavour favourites such as Blackberry and Cranberry.

This is a truly unique product created using a mix of our salmon candy and jerky processing techniques. Our own special recipe consistently receives the highest praise from smoked salmon connoisseurs around the world. Salmon Fingers are available in 4 flavours -Maple/Pepper, Cajun, Pepper and No-Spice.

Our jerky has been a favourite of customers for the last 12 years. It is prepared from Chum or Pink Salmon and sliced into strips which are then brined and smoked to perfection. It is a shelf stable product and we suggest a 9 month best before date. Four flavours are available - Cajun, Pepper, Coriander and No-Spice.

The best fish are selected from seasonal catches and expertly filleted and pin-boned, vacuum packed and quickly frozen to provide you with the perfect Barbeque meal. |
